Jazz built our beachside home at 73 Marine Parade, Mount Maunganui during the latter part of 2014 and the early part of 2015.

The house has subsequently been featured in Home magazine and was short-listed for the annual awards of this publication. It also won a Waikato/Bay of Plenty Architectural Award in 2016.

In short Jazz, and his team, were a pleasure to work with and his standards of both workmanship and ethics were refreshing and enduring.

In terms of workmanship ours was a difficult site to develop and the build required intricate finishing detail including cedar timber linings to all ceilings and most interior walls. As we were often on site – we lived in the house behind – we came to appreciate the daily challenges Jazz and his team faced and always overcame. In fact, we often thanked our lucky stars that in selecting a builder we didn’t go with any of the others we interviewed because we were quite convinced we would not have benefitted from the same standards of workmanship elsewhere.

Jazz also has a high standard of ethics and fairness and this culture was reflected in the other members of his team.
